At Karikar.in, we aim to deliver healthy, fresh, and well-packed plants to your doorstep.
Since our products are live and perishable, refunds are limited and handled under specific conditions.
Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
1. General Refund Policy
Refunds are not provided for live plants once the order is processed or dispatched, as plants cannot be returned or resold.
Refunds are only issued in special cases as described below.
2. When You Are Eligible for a Refund
You may receive a refund only in the following situations:
a) Duplicate or Over Payment
If you accidentally make two payments for the same order.
b) Order Cancellation (Before Dispatch)
If you cancel your order within 12 hours and before it is packed or shipped.
c) Out-of-Stock Situation
If a plant you ordered becomes unavailable and we cannot arrange a replacement.
d) Replacement Not Possible
If your plant arrives dead/damaged and a replacement is not available due to stock issues.
3. When Refunds Are NOT Allowed
Refunds will not be issued under the following situations:
❌ Plant delivered healthy but smaller/different in appearance (natural variation)
❌ No unboxing video for damage claims
❌ Damage caused after delivery due to mishandling, sunlight, overwatering, etc.
❌ Wrong address or missed delivery attempts by customer
❌ Customer changes mind after dispatch
❌ Weather-related stress, minor leaf damage, or soil displacement
4. Replacement Instead of Refund
If a plant arrives dead or severely damaged, we provide a free replacement, not a refund—unless stock is not available.
To claim replacement, you must share:
✔ Unboxing video without cuts
✔ Clear photos of the damaged plant
✔ Within 24 hours of delivery
This helps verify the courier/shipping issue.
5. Refund Timeline
If your refund request is approved:
- Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days
- Amount is returned to the original payment method
Some banks or wallets may take additional time.
6. Order Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placing the order.
- If the order is already packed or shipped, cancellation is not possible.
- Shipping charges may be deducted if special handling has already begun.
